The night brought together builders, policy leaders, and founders to talk about what’s next for computing in the Capital Region.

Demos: AI at Scale

We featured four standout companies pushing the boundaries of AI and large-scale processing:

• Data Parrot (Chris Hamoen) – Cleans up messy CRM data and delivers real-time revenue signals powered by a 24/7 AI analyst.

• Aymara (Juan Manuel Contreras) – Building tools to measure and improve generative AI alignment for safer, more effective systems.

• Empathix AI (Ashley Sherry & Jacob Tucker) – Uses AI to conduct interviews and deliver market research insights in just hours.

• NOVI (Amit Mehra & Henry Leach) – Developing multi-sensor satellites with onboard AI for faster, cost-effective space-based intelligence.

Panel: DC’s Role in the Future of Compute

We also hosted a forward-looking conversation on how the region can lead the next wave of AI and infrastructure innovation. Panelists discussed:

• Scaling energy production alongside growing data center needs

• Human-AI collaboration to solve social challenges like homelessness

• Emerging use cases, like real-time human-computer interfacing
